How do I collect information about you?
I collect personal information when you enquire about my counselling service or contact me in respect of our therapeutic work, for example, to change an appointment, provide feedback, or notify me of your decision to end counselling. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How do I use the information about you?
I will use this information to respond to your enquiry or feedback, arrange appointments, and if you are an existing client, to update your client notes.
I offer the highest level of confidentiality in accordance with law and the National Counselling Society’s Code of Ethical Practice. Information will only be disclosed in exceptional circumstances, and you will be informed of these, both verbally and in writing.
I will not share your information for any form of marketing. In the event that you raise a complaint with the National Counselling Society, I will be required to share some of your information as part of their complaints process.
You have the right to request a copy of the information that I hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please telephone or email me, or write to Vicky Mould, Azalea Counselling, The Wells Place Centre, Wells Place, Eastleigh, SO50 5LJ.
I want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You have the right to ask me to change information that you feel is inaccurate or incomplete.
You have the right to ask me to delete information where there is no compelling reason to keep it. You have the right to complain if you are unhappy with the way I have used your personal information.
